*Background:

Key building blocks of an AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT… Is the location truly accessible for people with challenges if that is how it is being advertised? Is it a competitive, affordable and sound investment for the targeted market? And does it have community safety in mind and is not being placed in a risk area.

Below are the concerns about where the FLORAL HILL TERRACE AHTF application comes up short and why DevNW’s application for Affordable Housing Trust Funds should be denied.

After the Affordable Housing Trust Fund Advisory Committee reviewed all 6 applications they concurred and FLORAL HILL TERRACE was not approved for funds but two other proposals rose above the rest: RIVER ROAD HOUSING and OUR VILLAGE. We support those choices.

Now the only thing left is for the Eugene City Council to vote as the Affordable Housing Trust Fund recommended on Monday, July 13th.
